Doctors In Secondary Schools Program

Each Tuesday UYSC delivers a comprehensive health and wellbeing service to students via the Doctors in Schools Program. Teenagers are the least likely of all age groups to seek health care, however this program allows many health problems to be addressed onsite in a timely manner during schools hours.

Upper Yarra Secondary College works with Dr Natalie and Nurse Beck from Headspace Knox to offer this school-based GP service. Doctor Natalie Barton has had extensive adolescent health training and provides students with the same services normally provided by GPs in the community for no charge.

The GP and Nurse are onsite on Tuesdays 10am – 2pm.
