National Reconciliation Week 2016

Upper Yarra Secondary College celebrated the commencement of National Reconciliation Week ‘’Our History, Our Story, Our Future’’ by taking part in Worawa College’s Reconciliation Week Sports Carnival in Healesville. A tremendous demonstration of reconciliation and inclusion!

Our College Captains Mary McIntosh, Tuew Mon-Aphai and Chloe Verkes gave stirring speeches at the local ANZAC Day Memorial Service in Yarra Junction. Many UYSC students and staff  were involved in the march and the laying of a wreath. We are very proud of them!
